After 18 month working hard with GML and game maker I finish my project. A project that based on GML language and game maker .project’s with name GM++i.
This 6 volume of gm++ and the properties of game maker let you to create a professional games. Real commercial professional games.
Properties of gm++ i:
1- camera:
Zoom in and out in the isometric and platform and side scroller games! get a position to surf or jump to it. Controllable with the arrow keys, soft movement. It is incredible myself but works.
2-panel:
This object has a dynamic map. You can click on the panel’s map to go on it in anywhere of level area you want , established to change resolution and room width and room height, choosing tools from panel, the map find any object you want and show it’s position in map like a radar.
3-loader:
It solves most problem of the game maker: loading sounds, images, backgrounds. It can source and encode the sources in the external folders and decode them when you need them in the deferent levels. You can fill and clear the memory for optimizing execution of game. Load the huge map and use it to create high quality maps for levels. also it relation with save engine.
4-saveEngine:
External save room, save slots, save thumbnail, save time and date, quick save and load.
When you load a level firstly saveEngin say to loader to load that level and make sprites and object then load your saved game .it was hard and most complicated work but .
5-music:
Play long music in wave format (because load externally), dynamic, volume of sound effects goes up and down when you near or far to objects, controllable in the option.
6-programing:
Now enemies can programmed easily to guard somewhere, surf some path or defence and fight where and when you want.
View area: you can create enemy soldiers with area of view 45 to 160 degrees, for creating strategic game like “commandos”.
Movement: friends object can move by clicking the goal position in the isometric game. Your champion goes to it. Define vehicle physique in the isometric games, define double click to change between walk and run mode in the isometric games.
Optimization: define and use a script that finds the fps of game. In the older systems it works to play game faster. It is dynamic and works really.
